Meeting Housekeeping

• We all agreed to meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-9pm at a consistent place (to be determined).
• Meeting place suggestions were Arlington Hts., Des Plaines, Northbrook, Glenview, Schamburg.  Libraries are a possibility.
• Dan Wellisch will attempt to find a place that is sponsored by an organization.  If we can't find a sponsorship, people were comfortable with a $10/meeting charge to pay for a room.

First Meeting Summary

Derek Wade gave an outstanding talk for about an hour on the high-level essentials of Agile Behavior. 

Derek highlighted a few of the following points (among others):

• Let  the product lead (vs. the process)
• The team is greater than the sum of all individuals.
• The manager promotes the following.: "Here is what I want.  My team can decide how it's done."
• On structure.....a little structure is needed:  "I need a little structure to run rampant in."
